Zinc Plus is indicated for the treatment and prevention of Zinc and Vitamin B-Complex deficiencies.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Adult : 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) 2 to 3 times daily or as
recommended by the physician.
Children : 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) 1 to 3 times daily or as
recommened by the physician.
Infants : 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 1 to 2 times daily or as
recommended by the physician.
Concomitant intake of tetracyclines and zinc may decreases the absorption of both the tetracyclines and zinc. Similarly concomitant administration of zinc and quinolone may also decreases the absorption of both.
Zinc Plus is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this product.
Zinc & Vitamin B-complex is generally well tolerated. However, a few side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset may occur. Side effects have been reported with specific vitamins but generally at considerable level.
Zinc Plus is recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
In acute renal failure zinc accumulation may occur; so dosage adjustment is needed.
