Mucobrox

Mucobrox is a preparation of Ambroxol Hydrochloride. Ambroxol has secretomotor with secretolytic effects. It stimulates serous cells of bronchial mucous membranes, increases mucous secretion content by changing the structure of bronchial secretion. Thus results in reduction of expectoration viscosity by reducing and fragmenting mucopolysaccharide fibers. It also intensifies motion of ciliated epithelium cilia, increasing expectoration transport. Ambroxol stimulates synthesis of phospholipids by alveolar cells and formation of surfactant lipids. It clearly improves breathing and suppresses coughing to some extent.
